This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") is part of the Terms of Service and applies to the public website, Makojima accounts, Developer Access, connected applications, and the Model API.
Scope
Use the Service only for lawful purposes and only through the interfaces, permissions, and limits Makojima makes available. You are responsible for prompts, application behavior, generated output you use or share, and activity performed with your credentials, subject to the security responsibility stated in the Terms.
Accounts Credentials And Access
You may not:
- obtain, guess, intercept, buy, sell, share, or use another person's password, session, API key, application token, refresh token, authorization code, two-factor code, or recovery material;
- impersonate a person or organization, create deceptive registrations, or use multiple accounts or credentials to evade a restriction;
- access or attempt to access another account's models, credits, requests, results, settings, files, or application connections;
- trick a person into approving a misleading application or permission request; or
- expose a credential in public source, client code, URLs, logs, analytics, screenshots, or an unprotected store.
Systems Models And Capacity
You may not probe, scan, exploit, reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with Makojima systems or service providers; bypass model qualification, request-size, context, credit, rate, concurrency, capacity, cancellation, retention, or safety controls; forge request ownership or service signatures; reuse consumed authorization or refresh credentials; or obtain controller, worker, database-administrator, Cloudflare, or GPU-provider access.
Do not send malware, exploit code intended to attack the Service, unsafe serialized artifacts, credential-harvesting content, or requests designed to cause uncontrolled external actions. Coordinated security research requires written authorization that defines the target and limits.
Harm Deception And Safety
You may not use the Service to facilitate violence, abuse, stalking, harassment, extortion, fraud, phishing, malware, unauthorized surveillance, sexual exploitation, human trafficking, illegal weapons, evasion of sanctions, or other unlawful harm.
Do not present generated material as a verified fact, professional determination, or authentic statement by another person when that would mislead someone. Do not use model output as the sole basis for a consequential decision about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, health care, legal rights, or access to an essential service.
Privacy And Rights
Submit only information and content you have the right and authority to use. You may not dox, profile, or infer sensitive traits about another person; violate privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, confidentiality, contractual, or data-protection rights; remove required notices; or ask the Service to reveal private prompts, internal instructions, credentials, security controls, or another person's data.
Copyright complaints follow the Copyright and DMCA Policy. Do not use the reporting channels to send passwords, credentials, identity documents, payment details, malware, threats, or unrelated personal information.
Automated Use
Scripts and approved applications may use the public Model API within the documented authentication, ownership, idempotency, credit, rate, and capacity rules. Creating more keys, application installations, sessions, or accounts does not authorize more capacity or credits.
You may not scrape the website, evade the documented API, conceal abusive traffic, ignore retry or cancellation boundaries, create duplicate paid work intentionally, or automate actions outside the permission bundle approved by the account owner.
Enforcement
Makojima may reject a request, revoke a credential or application registration, restrict models or capacity, preserve narrow evidence, suspend or terminate an account, or report conduct when reasonably needed to protect the Service or others, comply with law, or enforce this Policy. Enforcement can consider severity, repetition, intent, actual or likely harm, compromise, and efforts to correct the issue.
Where practical and lawful, Makojima will provide notice and a way to contact us. Safety, security, rights, sanctions, or legal requirements can require immediate action.
Reporting
Report suspected compromise, abuse, or a security issue to hello@makojima.com. Report legal or rights issues to legal@makojima.com. Provide enough information to locate the issue and do not send credentials, two-factor codes, recovery material, or unnecessary personal information.
