Makojima MCP
Connect an account and work with Makojima Workspaces and Workrooms from an MCP client.
The Door#
Makojima MCP is the public way to use a Makojima account from an MCP client.
The address is https://mcp.makojima.com. There is no /mcp path. A
signed-out check of https://mcp.makojima.com/health returns only
{ "status": "ok" }.
Point an MCP client at that address. The client discovers sign-in from the protected-resource metadata and opens Makojima consent. Approval identifies the person and the client. It does not grant a new role by itself.
Today the tools cover Workspaces and Workrooms. Tools that search and read these Docs and Agent Skills, and tools that return setup code for pointing a coding tool at Makojima inference, are planned and not available yet. The server never returns a provider key.
Read workspace://bootstrap first when the work is inside a Workspace. It
lists the Workspaces and Workrooms the signed-in account can access.
Workrooms#
Create a Workroom before asking it to do anything. Creating a Workroom does not call a model, start a schedule, or rent a computer.
Save room instructions with planning_save. That plan is configuration. It
does not grant inference or start a run.
workroom_copy makes an independent Workroom with the same topic and plan.
It does not copy messages, files, schedules, or credentials.
Supervisors And Activity#
supervisor_launch admits one Supervisor Session for one Workroom.
supervisor_child admits a separate session for another Workroom in the same
Workspace. supervisor_wake records one fenced wake. supervisor_complete
stops later wakes. These tools do not call a model provider.
workroom_activity_list returns the actor, operation, target, and outcome for
that Workroom.
Inference#
The MCP server does not run inference: none of its tools call a model. To run a model from your own code, use the Model API with an API key.
